If you're buying a vest that you're planning on wearing regularly, and especially concealed, you owe it to yourself to pay more to have one custom fitted for you; those off-the-rack "one size fits all" vests will most likely not fit well and will be very uncomfortable, therefore you are not going to wear it often. It's one of those cases where you do get what you pay for. Also, for a concealed vests for an average civilian, you probably don't want to go above Level II to keep the bulk down. On the other hand, if you just want a vest for occasional SHTF encounters where weight and concealment is not a concern - then by all means, get the most protection you can buy.

Every 18 minutes...

Someone in the U.S. is shot with a handgun. - MSNBC (11/23/08)

Your kids are not safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Buy now before he (or she) gets killed. Don't you love your kid???? What are you waiting for????

Your kid might already be dead :-(
So hurry before you have to buy a body bag instead.

Before I need to arm my kid for school they will be home schooled.

Which is why you are already seeing the flight from inner city schools.
